Has anyone tried prune juice to help their baby poop? My done will be a month old on the 17th.

@leowifey, the pediatrician said it was okay to give a small amount. Since I’ve been giving it to him he screams and cry’s way less. He has two casts on his legs cause he has club foot and it makes it hard to poop.

I haven’t done it but I’ve seen many moms post about this and suggest trying a tiny bit of apple juice.

I personally always put gas drops in my sons bottles and never had a problem with him going to the bathroom.

have you consulted your pediatrician about it? At such a young age they really should not be getting anything other than breast milk or formula. Certainly not juice.

It's very normal for babies to sometimes go a while without pooping so please check with your doc first.

no but i have tried these drops they sell at cvs they are like 30$ but work and are safe for newborns ! my newborn had a poopy diaper in like 10 mins no lie
