Asking for a friend if you breastfeeding how long should you wait after drinking to pump and dump and how much ?

You dont have to dump just wait 2hours and your system will clean its self

If you can find your baby, you can feed your baby! And if you are too drunk to hold your baby, have someone else hold him/her and put your breast in baby's mouth. You can go out drinking for a night with your girlfriends and your baby will receive the equivalent of cough syrup (alcohol-wise) in your breastmilk.

You shouldn't miss a pump session though if you are drunk. That will alter your supply. Key to a strong supply is staying consistent. It's ok if the milk can't be used to drink, it's better to stay consistent then miss a feeding

@ecahanes, why would you save it for baths

Do not PUMP and DUMP no such thing! Just have her by the breast stripes which tells you if ur milk has alcohol in it, or better yet don’t drink to get drunk or drink at all

And if you are drunk drunk just pump like normal and save for baths. Once you are sober your milk is fine
