So Dr has sent me in to do labs because I mentioned to him how itchy I’ve been these last couple of days. Any other moms gone through this before? He mentioned if something came up in my blood we’d have to do my section sooner than what it is scheduled for.

@bbhausfeld77, Lmao!!! Yeah I realized it couldn’t be it when my bf was peacefully sleeping. When he woke up I was observing him to see if I saw him scratching lol
@leslyev92, lol I’m cracking up! I literally thought the same thing and my mattress is brand new too!! Hahahahaha I even checked at my bfs house. Freaking out hahaha but it was only me itching
@bbhausfeld77, yeah I’m gonna give them a few days, I’m sure if they get it back before then and somethings up they’ll call me and tell me I need to go in cuz he did say we would have to deliver earlier if the results came back positive.
@bbhausfeld77, tell me about it. I was about to say we had bed bugs but my mattress is new and my bf would be itching too so it’s def just me. And after today I know I don’t even need to be in the house, it happened sitting at a restaurant while I was eating. I got so annoyed.

@bbhausfeld77, I didn’t really ask tbh, last time for my glucose exam they got the results by my following 1 week appointment so I’m gonna assume that they should have it within a week!

@bbhausfeld77, & you didn’t say anything! Omg lol but I think if it went away then it couldn’t possibly be that bad. I don’t feel like mine is going away, if anything I feel like it’s intensifying and it doesn’t matter how many showers or how much lotion I put on... it’s persistent.

@bbhausfeld77, don’t freak out, from what I’m reading it’s mainly in those areas... palms and bottom of your feet. You should have an appointment soon tho ?
@missjess, yeah same here I’m just REALLY itchy. I got a bit nauseas earlier today while eating but I didn’t puke or anything, I’ve been okay in that department. Thank god. After 5 months of puking my guts out I don’t need more vomit in my life.
@mintpanda_00, was the itching more so like on your palms and bottom of your feet or just all over ? Reading up on it now and it says it’s mainly there so just wanna make sure.
@leslyev92, it just went away but I’m serious it was god awful the bottom of my feet and hands belly everywhere !!! I googled it and said just a pregnancy rash so I haven’t thought anything of it !! I took lots of baths because it was so bad and lotion but I haven’t noticed it recently ! Now I’m freaking out lol
I got itchy the week I went into labor. My doctor put my on some kind of antihistamine. He said that if it was that illness that causes you to itch when pregnant i would be extremely ill and I wasn't I was just really itchy.
@leslyev92, yeah my doctor didn’t even wait for the results to come in and induced me because it’s a serious thing past 37 weeks
@mintpanda_00, thank you for the info. I hope I don’t have that! I’ve been a little nauseas but nothing major. The itching is what’s driving me crazy.
@leslyev92, it just randomly started at 35 weeks super itchy and then nauseous those were my only symptoms; I would google it.. it goes away right after baby is born
@angelreaper171, oh gotcha it’s stressful for sure, first time is always challenging, everything is so new but you got this. Make sure to ask ALL questions in your first visit.

I had the same thing at 36 weeks and it was cholestysis so they induced me 2 days later at 37 weeks; that was a week and a half ago
@leslyev92, I’m on the wait list to be seen by an ob so that’s why it’s a little frustrating because this is my first and I kind of feel like I don’t know what’s normal or what so hopefully soon. I calculated my number of weeks based on my last period
@angelreaper171, yeah that’s what I read too and I really thought my dr was gonna tell me that and send me home. When’s your next Drs appointment?

@angelreaper171, I would assume that belly itching is fine and ankles due to pressure from the growing bump but dr made it seem like it was not okay that my arms and legs were itching and that it was so bad I was restless. The first couple of days it was at night now I’m still feeling itchy and it’s daytime 😓
So along the lines of itching this is my first and I’m itchy all over and especially my stomach what’s normal and what’s not?

I went through a stage of being so itchy it was unbearable!! Like seriously bad. I never mentioned it. I don’t really itch anymore... do you think I should bring that up at my next appointment?! Now I’m nervous lol
@angelreaper171, I didn’t think much of it more than a normal pregnancy symptom but he seemed pretty concerned about it. I will keep you posted I’m waiting rn to get called in to do my labs.

@angelreaper171, it’s pretty bad, I can’t sleep good because of it. My palms don’t itch which was his first follow up question but my arms itch, my legs and ankles and sometimes my bump. I’m just very restless because of it and he did seem concerned about it. & it’s mainly at night, doesn’t matter if I’m sitting, laying down, if I’m on the couch or in the bed.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
