What do you mama's think? I let my 3 month old cry and I did the same with my 2 yr old
@dashtikalin I disagree my son knows he's loved but he expects to be held all day long and talked to.. So when you sit him down he cries for no reason.. CIO might not be your thing but it's mine and I love my kids to the moon and back but I refuse to sit and hold my son all day because he doesn't like to swing or sit in his stroller
I let my baby cry because he's spoiled he cries just to be held he doesn't like his seeing our his stroller so he expects to be held all day long...
I sleep trained Coraline at 9 months. The cio method worked wonders && I care for my daughter and her needs. She knows I'm there when she needs me. Cio doesn't cause "brain damage." My daughter knows that me && her Daddy love her && she knows that we're here. Some people who disagree with the cio method will try to make you feel bad with false facts && blah blah.. ignore it. You're the mother. If the Cio method works for you, fantastic..&& if it doesn't.. that's ok too. We all do things our own way.
I had only let my son cry when I was in the middle of something and physically have to put somethings down first or stuff like that. BUT my son cried a lot. And when I mean a lot. He has serious attachment issues as a baby and cried if he wasn't constantly in my arms. When he was 2 months I had to clean the house with him stepped on my chest for weeks straight because he would freak out if I set him down. Now my son is a spoiled little poop bucket, but that's okay😅 I think letting them cry for a second or 2 is okay as long as ur making ur way to them. Also a tiny bit aggressiveness is not a bad thing, I would rather my son be a tad bit aggressive than shy or timid!!😊
That is just absolutely heartbreaking! I’ll admit my mother was definitely aggressive with me but after 2 years old. I don’t suffer anger issues or hit my kids. As a matter of fact I can barely recal times when they WERNT in my arms. I totally get the ignoring part though. You loose a lot of self worthy and take on invisibility in your own home...
Also, sorry but babies don't cry for no reason:) If your baby is changed and seems to have everything they need and is still crying, something is wrong and you just haven't figured it out yet. When you leave a young baby to cry, you signal to that baby that you will not be there to provide all their needs, so they just stop crying every time they need something. This phenomenon has been seen several times throughout history, and is very common with babies in orphanages who can't be tended to quickly.
Babies needing to cry is an old wives tale. Babies don't need to cry, it is how they tell you something is wrong. Like I said before, letting a baby younger than 6 months cry it out causes Brian damage.
My first child never cried it out until he hit a year, because that's when he started throwing tantrums and didn't only cry out of necessity. I started sleep training my daughter at 8 months and let her cry in the crib at that point because I knew she was okay and didn't need anything.
You should never let a baby younger than 6 months just cry, it causes brain damage. I'm not sure how true it is that it causes anger issues, but it wouldn't surprise me if that were true.
I let my son cry it out whenever it was necessary. If he was fed, changed, and all basic necessities were taken care of then the crying wasn't for any real reason. Crying can also be due to behavior like if he's not getting his way. Babies also need to cry as well, it helps get extra oxygen to their brain and strengthens their lungs as well. My son is happy, perfectly healthy, and his behavior is normal of a 2 year old.
I let both my girls cry it out and my oldest is the sweetest little girl you will ever meet. If they cry I check o see if they are hungry, or wet, or jut need some cuddles. If I check them and they are ok I leave them to cry and for the most part they will calm down then we can go back to playing. My youngest would cry anytime somebody walked past her. I wasn't going to pick her up every time I was liked past her and she cried. Now she'll just grab my hand and walk with me.
I can’t let my son cry my body starts to panic when he cry’s especially in the car there is always a reason
I don't let my son cry because he doesn't just cry for no reason. So If he's crying somethings wrong and I fix it.
I think during the 4th trimester it’s important to show them you are there when they need you. And when they are crying they are telling you they need you. I feel during that time it could be detrimental on mental development. Causing coping issues, which may lead to having an anger issue. But that’s only my opinion.
I don't let my son cry, if he is crying he needs me whether it's a diaper change, to eat, or to be loved on. He can't tell me what's wrong, he cries to signal me. To each their own but I don't let my baby cry

Not hating, but idc if i was a millionaire i would not but my 3 year old in a 950 anything 🤣😂
Question: 16 year old dating an q8 year old? Thoughts??
My opinion is hell no. 16 year old is still a kid. Kids now a days want to be grown so bad and be in adult relationships and situations. I know when my daughters are 16 and they tell me they are dating an 18 year old. I will surely flip my lid.
Just got my one month old to pee AND poop in the potty ☺️ #godiaperfree

They don't teach cursive in school anymore? Is this true? My 10 year old niece and 7 year old nephew were mesmerized by me writing in cursive and my brother said it isn't taught anymore because it's considered unnecessary. I guess I'm getting old, but I find that kind of sad.
I NEED HELP !
My 5yr old has lice and I don't know what to do, any advice?!? it's my first time dealing with lice I feel so lost 😭😭😭😭
@dashtikalin, some babies cry to be held if they are use to being held a lot. My daughter did. Her doctor told me not to pick her up every time she cried. She said it was fine to let her cry for a little if all her needs were met. People confuse letting a baby cry with neglect. Doesn't mean the baby cries for a long time or long enough to cause brain damage. The baby isn't going to feel like you won't be there if they need you if you let them cry for a little.
