Sooooo here we are 37 weeks in and I am frustrated as HELL. From the beginning of this pregnancy I had told my OB that my first was born 9.5lbs at 38 wks and I delivered vaginally and because she was so

Big I strained my ribs and was basically not able to walk or do anything on my own for about a week and a half after delivering her. I wanted to avoid this *if possible* this time around. Once I hit about week 28 I started to feel pain- just intense pain in my pelvis, I just knew he was starting to feel heavy and the pain was just so much worse than it was with my daughter-which I know it’s normal for things to be more painful the second, and so forth time around- but this pain just kept getting worse and worse and now it’s gotten to the point where I can’t get out of bed alone, I can’t walk without my husband basically holding me up, I can’t sit or even lay down comfortably because it’s too painful. When I told my doctor this they said it was normal to feel this and to take Tylenol and a hot bath.. 😞 they said baby was measuring fine, a week ago they did a growth scan (after a lot of insisting and practically begging on my part) and they said he was 7+ lbs but measuring perfectly at 36 wks but that he was just fine and I need to wait it out and take tylenol. yesterday at my appointment they told me I was measuring at 42 weeks, when he checked me he said “hmm seems like he’s not in position anymore let’s get an ultrasound” so they did and sure enough he has turned completely breech and when they weighed him again they said he was weighing in at 10 lbs 2 oz... the doctor is now saying he might be too big to pass through the birth canal so here we are trying to figure out if c section is the way to do it, or if we want the doctor to move him into position and try and deliver naturally- either way I have until The end of the day to decide because they want him out now! Why do I feel like this could have all been avoided if they hadn’t just blown me off every time I told them what I was feeling 😞 I am SO SO frustrated!

@tiffanyxbrooks, that’s so great for you... I tore with my 9 and a half pound daughter and I don’t know if I want to risk pushing out a 10+ lb baby whose not in a head down position but I might just consider it now because you didn’t tear with your 8lb baby 👍🏽🤦🏽‍♀️ I swear some people

I'm so glad I met my midwife the first visit of pregnancy with my 1st child! The OB was completely book. She not only cared about my child but me as well. I have talked to her for hours. My son was 10lbs and now with my daughter they are keeping a close eye and talking about delivery sooner if needed. It could have been avoided, you're right. I wish you the best of luck! I'm excited for you to meet your precious little one soon!

My baby was 9 pounds 1 oz and I delivered vaginally but had to have an episiotomy (idk how to spell it) Because he wasnt going to fit. But I did it so its possible but I probably wouldve chosen c section because it was a rough delivery. Good.luck girl im sorry they put you through that bs

He tore everything of mine. Lol With them not facing and being so big sounds like c-section would be better, but I never had one so I have no idea. I'm just thinking about your complications last time and he's measuring big. I was measuring normal and got a 10lber.

@stephaniemora17, I feel for you tremendously. Only positive I can add to help maybe is your 2nd baby will come out SOOOO much easier than your first, which could mean much less strain on your ribs this time if you chose that route. With my 1st I pushed for over 3 hours, my 2nd daughter was 2 pushes and bam. So I hope regardless of size it all just goes SO much smoother and easier! 🤞🏽

В ожидании первенца

They telling me 9 pounds is the projection too. I want a c section cause I want to tie my tubes but my doc won't say a definitive yes for that. Only if my son is breech. Sorry you are going through that.

Aww I’m sorry love yes all this could have been avoided I don’t like how doctors push things off or make it seem like we don’t know what we’re talking about I think the safest thing for you and baby would be to get a c section but good news is baby is nice and healthy

My baby flipped the day before he was due and I had the choice of c section or having the doctor try and flip him. I asked for the section because flipping the baby could put him in distress and an emergency section would've been needed. I'm glad I chose section because when he came out the cord was around his neck and if we had tried flipping him it could've been a bad situation. Not trying to scare you or anything but wanted to share with you. Good luck to you and congratulations!

It is very frustrating when doctors don’t listen to you about your body 🙄 my second girl was about 9 lbs and while that doesn’t sound big to some I’m very concerned because I’m carrying twins this time around and would have a really hard time carrying two huge babies 🤦🏾‍♀️ and like you, at 20 weeks I’m already starting to feel a lot of the same horrible pain. My hubby is having to help me stand from low sitting positions and just support in general. I hope everything goes well. Sending lots of love your way ❤️

@livinthatmomlife, 😱😱 that is my worst nightmare!! Oh lord, yes definitely something to take into consideration as well, I’m definitely leaning towards c section mainly because of THAT

@jayanna.scott, oh wow!!! I hope your precious babes aren’t as big as your first, and I pray your doctors detect early enough if they are ❤️
