@megan-leigh join a group on fb called babies with reflux and silent reflux....

They are a godsend and u can post videos... ask questions ect and everyone's in the same boat!

Water... would be for wind maybe?

But if its not helped just stop.

You need to try gaviscon.. is like 1 satchet per bottle itl thicken it slightly and settle in her tummy better.

I used.. something called Carobel.. it's a thickener that weighs the milk down in his tummy.

Honestly im a reflux expert!

Just demand they give you somthing... tell them shes keeping down no feeds and its making you both unhappy

If they dont give u it just go buy it yourself... it's infant gaviscon.

@laurabump27 That's exactly what she's like but she's holding her wind in too. I wind her for 20 mins each time. She basically has every symptom of reflux apart from refusing feeds. She's constantly hungry instead. They told me to give her f**king water... I've barely slept in weeks xx

It took me 7 fed visiits to get him diagnosed properly by that time his throat had ulcers on from the acid!!

He's on 3 very strong meds for reflux but i trialed all the milks and techniques myself and it really helped x

Is she sick alot?

Unsettled?

Squirms in her sleep?

Cries mid bottle?

Windy?

After a feed burp her upright for 20-30 mins.... seems a long time but i did it for 45 minutes for 6 months it gives the milk time to digest partially

Sleep her on an incline... raise safely one end of the crib so her head is above her tummy.

Don't feed her huge amounts in one go.... little and often is better

@megan-leigh yep they will... Charlies suffered terrible with reflux.

Keep on at them... the first thing they will prescribe is gaviscon... it lines ther tummy to stop the milk coming up as much.. but you can buy it over the counter!

I wouldnt try non of these reflux milks yet.. it upsets ther tummies...

Either demand gaviscon or switch to a gentler milk like... hipp organic so much milder on babies digestive system. Xx

@laurabump27 That's what I'm thinking but when I rang the doctors they just brushed me off like I don't know what's up with her x

@selinasophie She isn't sleeping, constantly crying and hungry. Then she will be sick a lot. She keeps heaving and coughing and stuff too. I'm demanding the doctor see her tomorrow and she's not herself at all xx

@megan-leigh from everything i can gather hun you are an amazing mum to your beautiful little girl. As far as i can understand it is hard being a new mum and im sure i will figure that out when its my turn. Keep strong hunny because you are doing an amazing job. Myself and im sure all the other amazing mums on this site are here for you whenever you need someone.😚xx

Aww hunni, keep your chin up. It will get easier, shes all worth it. Try and just stay as calm as you can, be very relaxed around her or she will only react to your emotions. 😘 here if u need a chat or anything xx
