Question for all my working pregnant ladies.. how far along were you before you took your maternity…

I worked until my water broke or I had a planned induced date

I worked up until the day I went into labor!

38 weeks

@april.renae01, 38 with my 1st water naturally broke. And induced at 39 weeks with my 2nd

I worked up until my dr decided to induce me. 37 weeks.

39 weeks

I worked up to 37 weeks and gave birth 2 weeks later. Next pregnancy I plan to work until i go into labor.

Okay thanks everyone.. I was thinking about working until 38 weeks since my dr told me if I hadn’t started dilating by that time he would do a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks since I’ve had one before.

With my first I quit at 34 weeks cuz I felt so tired, I plan on working til my c section date this time.

37 weeks

I stopped working at 38 weeks. Didn’t have my son until 41 weeks, but I was so exhausted and just wanted sleep. I am an accountant though and it was middle of tax season so I was on a mandatory 55 hour per week schedule. I probably would have still left at 38 weeks though even if that hadn’t been the case.
