This is my second child. I didn't breastfeed my first. My milk never came in. I am hoping this time it does! Question. Should I start using nipple cream before I start breastfeeding. Like now? I am 24 weeks.. My nipple are dry so I didn't know if I should use nipple cream or just lotion??

Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights

I yes lanolin ointment and I’ve Breastfed all of my 4 children .
I wouldn’t start early I do it from right after the first feed ( I feed right away so before wouldn’t work ) and every time you feed after . It’s pretty much chapped nipples like when you keep licking your lip over and over again it gets dry plus suction it causes the already dry skin to crack .
So doing it way before won’t help or harm.

Sure you could! Nipple cream is amazing! But lotion also works too! When ur milk does come in and ur still having problems with the girls then try rubbing some of ur breast milk on them! Worked wonders for me!
