@qamilang i wasnt expecting anything at all. But he brought it up to me and I figured id go look online. I didnt like anything i saw so i said a cartier love ring. And i think hes taking me seriously lol
I didn’t get anything when I pushed my son out lol so I’m not expecting anything this time around either. My husband does tend to get me more elaborate gifts for all the holidays so I really didn’t miss not getting a present well other than my son.
I definitely don't expect anything as a push gift. It'll definitely be nice to get something. If my SO was to ask what I want it'll be a new summer wardrobe. I just can't wait to go shopping after baby comes!
In my opinion do I think it's deserved? YES! But I wouldn't want a gift unless it was from the heart. I wouldn't want it just because they felt they had to do it. My BF (now husband) looked at me after giving birth to our son and basically said "you just gave birth to our baby boy I want to get you something, what would you like?" And that was when I first heard of a push gift lol. Definitely something to at least talk with your SO about so they know it's a thing! (Sorry that was longer then I meant to make it)
@aileen_west id be totally okay with spending an entire day in the spa getting rubbed and laying in a pool..but i dont trust anyone to be around my baby 😂 i might just ask him for the ring
