When did you take your lo to the eye doctor and the dentist for the first time?

Dentist: first visit is when they’re 2 years old and not sure on eye Dr.

Dentist at 2 and a half and 5-6 for the eye doctor

I took my 5 year old to the eye dr cause she failed a test st school. Dentist around 2

First dental visit was at 2. He's 3.5 and I'm scheduling his first eye appointment later this year.

First dentist at 1, eye was since birth since she had an issue but they just did a routine eye exam for the first tine at her 3 year old check up.

Dentist is one and we haven’t gone to eye drs yet dr hasn’t said to take him

2 for the dentist. I’m not sure about the eye doctor, I have not taken my son yet.

Where I'm from they recommend doing both around age 1.

Did you wait till your dr told you or did you just make the appt

One year for dentist with both but never to the eye doctor so far my oldest got them checked at school but not till then

Most eye drs aren’t equipped to check kids until age 3, unless they have a specific problem, ie blindness or injury, then you go to a specialist at a children’s hospital generally for all appointments and follow up

And yes, just call up an eye dr your insurance covers and make an appointment

My dentist practice who also works with children in another building said as soon as the first tooth comes in so they can make sure it is growing in right... also any lip or tongue ties that haven't yet been identified they would identify
