My dentist practice who also works with children in another building said as soon as the first tooth comes in so they can make sure it is growing in right... also any lip or tongue ties that haven't yet been identified they would identify

And yes, just call up an eye dr your insurance covers and make an appointment

Most eye drs aren’t equipped to check kids until age 3, unless they have a specific problem, ie blindness or injury, then you go to a specialist at a children’s hospital generally for all appointments and follow up

One year for dentist with both but never to the eye doctor so far my oldest got them checked at school but not till then

Did you wait till your dr told you or did you just make the appt

Where I'm from they recommend doing both around age 1.
