Nowadays no where 😒 I’m looking for a new place now. I currently pay 975 for two bedroom, nothing included. I also pay for gas cooking, oil heat and electricity. Smh
@arthuranna26 well, it's a really big commitment to buy a house. I bought my first home a little over 2 years ago, it's def not something to do if you're nervous about it lol. But my house payment and home insurance together is less than half of what my rent was before. If you are interested though, the first step would be meeting with a mortgage loan officer and finding out how much of a mortgage loan you could get approved for, then you start looking into homes in your price range.
@arthuranna26, Yea I definitely want to move out of Connecticut as well. I’m looking into Tennessee or even North Carolina? Not sure, but away from CT that’s for sure. There is nothing here! It’s such a toxic place and they do nothing for kids.
@dazzlingmommy, yes.. I luckily got lucky with a small house two bedroom for $850.. but you won’t get nothing close to that price. San Diego is expensive 🤨 mm I guess just depends on the job you have lol
@casanovaivette2711, That sounds great!! I would love a house with a private back yard! We’re definitely working on buying a house within the next couple years 🤞. But that’s crazy expensive out there!
I'm from Tennessee. A few years ago we were approved for a $250,000 home loan and ended up falling in love with a $100,000 three bedroom brick home. We pay the bank $500 a month, and maybe $150 utilities. Not bad at all. And I still had money left over to do renovations because we were approved well above what we expected! Idk how you feel about the south but this is what seems typical for my neck of the woods.

Buying a home is the cheapest honestly, but call your local financial aid office and ask about income based public housing...

@arthuranna26 just visit a few different officers in a few different banks and see what you can get from each.
