I will be licensed and have all the required certifications as well as a bachelors degree in physical education for k-12grades. I'm trying to figure out how much to charge per hour. What do you pay for in home daycare? Do you pay per hour or per week? I'm located in the Chicago suburbs. Any suggestions or advice would also be greatly appreciated!!

Do ya’ll feel comfortable telling me what you pay for health insurance per pay period? I’m trying to figure out if what I am paying is reasonable or not! We are paying $380 per pay period We have a 20% co-pay, so they pay 80% of all in-network bills A $1200 family deductible Our out-of-pocket MAX is $3500, which I guess will come in handy with our hospital bills coming up in February! I want to hear opinions! It seemed from all of our choices, we were paying either low per pay period costs, with crazy deductibles, or low deductibles with high per pay period costs 🙄😡 #adultlife
I'm so upset and embarrassed! RANT 😠😤😢😓 I'm a college student and haven't worked a real job ever! (my parents didn't want me to in high school and my dad was adamant about not working my first year in college). Well, my hospital bill was about $1800 because the doctor my mother preferred me to go to isn't in our insurance's network. I told my mom that's kind of expensive and that I would look for a different doctor she said to just stay and that she and my dad would foot the bill. I told her I would ask my boyfriend to at least pay half she said that wouldn't be necessary only to pay a few times. My boyfriend has given me over $200 for the bill and $1600 is left. At my last appointment they told me I couldn't come back until the bill was paid in full. I don't have $1600 just laying around and now my mom is denying she even offered to pay. I was told to apply for Medicaid and they would pay the rest, I won't know if I'm approved or not until July 10th... 9 days before my due date. I feel bad and embarrassed that I can't check on my baby girl and that I don't have the money for the doctors.

That money you’re spending on daycare will be a little extra money in your pocket. And if you cook breakfast lunch and dinner as much as possible instead of fast foods you save a lot of money there too. I do think it’s possible.

@maryeliza, I’m not sure exactly what you should do it’s hard with only 1 working but it would be awesome to stay with the kids also I wouldn’t work 3rd you should be home at night with your husband and baby’s

@mommyof3babies2016, he has one of the higher paying jobs that we have here where we live, he did not go to college. When I first had our daughter he didn’t even want me to go back to work, but reality set in and we knew it wasn’t very possible for me to stay home. he comes from a bigger family and his mother didn’t work until they were all in school. My oldest daughter is in school, but she’s in head start and only goes from like 830am to 1pm and then not at all on Fridays.

@maryeliza, it’s crazy everything is so expensive and for everyone that says for him to get a better job that is hard to idk if your husband went to college but if he didn’t 15 is extremely well to be making my husband worked at a foundry and made 20$ a hour he also worked 7 days a week with one day off during a month he did quit that job but it’s a struggle to get what’s considered a good paying job anymore

@momof3cuties, he doesn’t want we working weekends or nights, which makes it harder cause I would make more money on 3rd shift and get weekend pay as well.

@mommyof3babies2016, if we didn’t have to pay for the girls to be in day care full time, we would possibly be okay. Because daycare takes just about my entire check each month and then I buy our groceries, but I also pay our electric, before we got our unit fixed it was like $500 each month because it never kicked off.

My hubby makes 20.00 an hour and I stay home. You will have the extra money from day care. You busy have to budget your money and not eat out or buy things you don't need until you get on track. Maybe you can work weekends and your fiance can watch the girls.

Idk that’s hard it’s funny how even with 2 people working it’s pay check to pay check lol it’s sad anymore but I feel ya
