We took her at 5 months because she has a birthmark by her eye and wanted to make sure it wasn't affecting her vision. She had to go to a pediatric ophthalmologist. Well it wasn't, but while we were there, they dilated her eyes. He then looked at her eyes with some tool and could see that she is "severely farsighted" so she has had glasses ever since.
@may042017, how were they able to see if she needed glasses ? My daughter possibly needs them she was born with some eye problems and glasses may or may not help her if she has an astigmatism is near sided or far sided we go to the ophthalmologist the 21st and was just curious bc our first doctor we had told us it wasn’t possible to test her vision till she was two

Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
