@johnell, Thanks I’ll Do That. I Think It Started Because I Gave My LOs A Bath With My Husband Tonight. And The Tub Is Super Low And I Had To Keep Bending Over. Usually He Does It Alone Because I’m Still Healing

@mommyof2ladybugs, try putting a panty liner right at the top of your pants to catch the fluid so you don’t leak all over them. And just try to relax. I know you have two little ones so easier said then done but try to not over do it especially till they check you out again just to be sure it is okay

@johnell, Thanks. Yea My Husband Keeps Saying It’s Fine Every Time I Ask Him To Look At It But Tonight I Looked In The Mirror Myself And Soon As I Touched Down There I Felt Fluid

@mommyof2ladybugs, sounds a lot like my situation. I didn’t know what was going on down there either. I had to have hubby take a look and he swore up and down it wasn’t terrible. I stood up and looked in the mirror and had the biggest melt down. But honestly I think you might be okay till Monday. All the er will do is give you some bactrium and send you home since they will want to leave it open to drain. But it’s your body you know it best.

I really hope you heal up faster than me though !

@mommyof2ladybugs i wouldn't take a risk I'd go in. If you can't afford an ER trip and have to wait I would clean it (do not soak it or get it wet use q-tips) and once you are done dry area well. Keep it clean and dry until Monday

Hey! I had a similar problem ! Is it the whole thing draining or just one side ? Is it warm and swollen or red ? How big is the draining spot ?

I had a seroma or however it’s spelled on the left side. Mine drained for about 9 weeks before it began to close. Mine never became infected but it hurt like 11 out of 10. It did smell funny though.

The doctor suggested to leave it drain. Keep the area clean.

He did give me some medication to fight an infection just Incase.

Since a bandaid didn’t really work I use to stick panty liners on the inside of my pants to catch the discharge.

Try to avoid stretching to keep pulling it open and do not play with the hole either !

I would suggest just waiting till Monday if you aren’t red and super warm to touch to avoid the expensive emergency bill. However if it is absolutely unbearable take the trip. Not worth getting an infection.

Have you changed the dressing over your csection yet? Or Did you have those steri strips?

And take it easy on your body and do not over exert yourself. Take the meds that were perscribed when needed to numb the pain.

I tore my incision twice, and on those areas now, i have these raised bumps where it healed 😔 on top of it being a keloid csection scar

Since yours is draining i would get it checked to prevent an infection

@mommyof2ladybugs draining and smell are both indicators. (heat and redness would be too) I've had two c sections and never had draining or a smell. They checked to see how mine was healing 2 weeks out. Did they check yours?
