It’s been about 13 weeks since my last period and I don’t have my first ultrasound appointment until the 21st. I was feeling really nauseous for a few weeks and now it’s like all of my symptoms have gone away. I’m so worried that they aren’t going to be able to find a heartbeat or that I’m going to have a miscarriage. To make matters worse I keep looking everything up online and finding every worse case scenario possible which is not helping. I’ve always had pretty bad anxiety so that’s not helping. Idk how to put my mind at ease. 😕
@steganmewart, no it’s not the easiest because the baby can be in a weird position and make it hard for you. The baby could also make it hard for you by constantly moving the entire time. When was the start of your period?.
@shay2beautiful, I don’t know for sure that’s just how many days since my last period. So I’m assuming I’m less than that. Idk if a Doppler would just make me more anxious. Is it easy to find a heartbeat with one?
@steganmewart, how are you so sure that you’re actually 13 weeks?. You could be further along or less than 13 weeks. Have you thought of purchasing a Doppler?.
@steganmewart, have you had the first prenatal appointment yet?. To confirm pregnancy?.
@shay2beautiful, I just haven’t heard the babies heartbeat yet, I’m trying not to worry
@leroydoom, thanks. Is just read that sometimes people don’t have signs of a miscarriage and the baby still doesn’t have a heartbeat. So it just made me worry.
@blessedmama09, no I haven’t. But my mom had several miscarriages so it just makes me worry.
Everyone doesn’t have symptoms that last the entire pregnancy. Some people don’t get symptoms at all and still have perfectly healthy pregnancies. Stop worrying yourself it only make things much worse.
You're going into your second trimester, some women experience less nausea at that point. So, that's what it may be.
I miscarried at 13 weeks, I had light spotting and cramps at first (my first sign) that only intensified.
I hope that helps ease your mind some and that all is well. ❤
@steganmewart, sorry to hear that. Try not to stress. Get out. Talk to someone. It’s not going to be hard to not stress after the baby so work on it now. I don’t know if you believe in our Heavenly Father. But if you do pray. Pray for every meal pray for thanks! Pray before you take your vitamins. Keep faith! You got this! Everything is going to be okay! Give your worries to our lord! He’ll guide and protect you guys!
