But if I did, someone could read your comments and think that they need them because their child has red marks and that there’s minimal risk. That’s giving false information. The information I provided was factual, not an opinion. Car seat safety isn’t a parenting choice, it’s an obligation. It isn’t based on opinions, it’s based on facts.
@laniejay no u were dramatic about it. Like I said I did the research and I made sure the straps were still tight. They arnt recommended cuz they are not tested with the said seat. She won't go flying out of it. Beside the fact she is hardly in this seat anymore. Her new one has ones that came with the seat and was tested with the seat and so r considered 'safe'. Everyone has their own opinion and every mom does what she feels is right and that doesn't always make it wrong. U could have just said okay and moved I just wanted to make sure u knew the risks and moved on.
@lillyb, I wasn’t nasty about it. Just shocked to hear someone say it’s worth the risk. I pointed out facts and asked a question. You not liking what I said doesn’t make it nasty.
@laniejay agree to disagree u don't have to shame me. Again her new seat came with them and she useses that new seat 90% Of the time. I thank you for bringing it up to me so that u make sure I am educated about it but u don't have to be nasty about it.
@lillyb, risking her flying out of the seat in an accident because the straps don’t fit properly was worth not digging into her neck? FYI- there are ways to position the shirt and you can even contact the manufacturer so they can send you some that are ok with the seat... or heck a new seat that comes with them are all safer alternatives.
@laniejay I already kno. I did my research and the small risk is worth it to me since they were digging do bad into her neck. She's not in this seat hardly at all anymore anyway it's our extra she uses maybe once a week. Her grow with me seat came with them. Thank you tho.
So sweet! Just an FYI- aftermarket accessories are not safe for car seats, I’d take the strap covers off so your baby is as safe as can be.
@laniejay no they wouldn't cuz u said they arnt safe and I said I knew the risks so they would do the research and figure out it out themsleves. My child is safe in my car so why don't u go worry about something else thanks 🙋
