Are you sure the cuff is the right size for your arm and are you using an automatic? Automatic cuffs are notorious for being wrong because you can twitch and it pick it up as a beat and if the cuff isn't the right fit it could read either too high or too low. Those numbers are too close together and if they are correct you should call your doctor. It's not normal by any means but it's also not dangerously high.
Bottom number is too high I had and have pre-eclampsia and my bp was really high and needless to say at 35 weeks baby came and was a horrible labor and it was a life or death
Bottom number is too high. The numbers are too numerically close, my mother (an ICU nurse) says to do it again. Sounds like it could be an error. But the bottom one is too much.
At 35 weeks some swelling can be normal. Make sure they check your urine for protein, and let them know right away if you get intense headaches, dizziness, blurred vision or seeing floaters.
I'm having swelling in my hands and feet with it. Was just wondering if it could be preeclampsia. But guess not. Thank God. But I'll still call my doc.
Thanks ladies and yes it was the cup.
