Anyone who has had a c section did you have staples or stitches? My 2 sections were with stitches but I’ve just been told this baby will be with staples and it’s freaking me out 😬 I have no idea about the differences between them

@court123, scares me. Maybe try and do research on stables and find out whatever info you can
It’s just a different ob that I have been assigned to this time and his choice is staples so I have to go with that. Just scares me, the thought of staples 😬
All 3 of my sections were stitches. Can I ask why they want to use staples? I’m not sure the difference. But I have known a few people who got staples and they ended up needing to get stitches.

I heard the hospital I'm going to only does staples for c sections 😪😪 but I hear that it's more painful for recovery then getting stitches and glue! They can't say no if I request that.. Can they? 😫😡 I don't want staples

I had a c section and my doctor used stitches. It all depends on the doctor. I asked for stitches before my c section.
