So I have a positive test from about 6 this afternoon and a negative test from an hour ago....

I had a false positive. I've taken 6 tests and only the one was "positive". It was a a dye run, when the dye runes to the second like and turns it just a faint pink, but never gets any darker.

So, that was fun to tell my husband, and deal with that freak out....

3rd negative test.

Today's blue dye test was negative, but I'm taking another pink dye test also.

@sadiesue0718, like someone suggested, take another test with your first urine. If it’s negative I would definitely suggest some kind of birth control so you’re not constantly worried about being pregnant.

Second blue dye test with FMP was also negative. I'm getting a red dye test and testing again...

Apparently you can have dry lines, where the dye runs and dries. So we will see.

@angelfoodcake, I can't relax. I had a postpartum hemorrhage after my son and almost died. The odds of those are rare, the odds of another go up after a previous one....

One test might be more sensitive than the other, relax.

I would definitely test again with a pink dye test with your first pee of the morning!

@for_the_love_of_boys, the test earlier looked really odd. Some moms said it was an invalid test.

I’ve heard from my doctor that there is no such thing as a false positive... But I’m not sure. 🤔

@joffree., I know I'd be super early, I'm 2 months PP and 5 weeks of those were recovering...

You could be early in the pregnancy. I also don't trust blue dye tests. Try another red dye.

Try another pink dye
