Normal, my son would do the same. I also worried but his pediatrician assured me he wouldn’t starve himself. Also, to keep trying more than 5 times, not to give up.

@kaguirre, normal. He’s probably a little bit congested which can cause kids to not want to eat because they cannot breath through their nose. Noah has a little bit of a weight problem but he does this too.

That sounds normal. My son’s appetite would go way down for a few days while teething & then it’d come back with a vengeance once he felt better.

Yes def normal most kids do that ......mine did that n he’s four y old now n he’s super picky n still

His teeth r coming in and his eyes have been watery for 2days

Your son will not starve himself. Does he have a fever? Is he teething? Is he not feeling well? Is it very hot outside? Those can all factor into him not wanting to eat very much. Make sure to have little snacks and food options available all the time, and he will definitely eat when he’s hungry. As long as he’s pooping and peeing like normal, I would not be concerned. If this goes on for more than a few days and is not triggered by teething, sickness, or weather, then I would definitely give the doctor a call.
