Short luteal phase?! 😫 why!!? What I thought was implantation bleeding (7dpo) has pretty much turned into my first post partum period. 😓 does breast feeding cause this? Low progesterone? What can I do about it?

How often are you breastfeeding and how old is the little one?

@girlygirl1988, my cycle came back because I started stretching out his suckling. He’s 14m and he breastfeeds morning lunch and night and usually 1-2 at night.

@s.roberts_09, the best bet might be weening him off one feed at a time . Sometimes progesterone won’t regulate until it’s reduced ( some women are lucky and get a normal cycle with tons of breastfeeding and others don’t )

I have my son weened to once in the morning and that’s it and I finally got a blazing opk. I think it’s helped my hormones a lot

@girlygirl1988, I got a blazing OPK as well 7 days ago! 😔 I lost my first pregnancy from low progesterone but with my first born everything was okay.
