@mommytonayeliz You definitely have to pump at least every 3 hours if you want it to work.. naturally, infants at a young age cluster feed to build up supply during growth spurts and in general, where they are constantly on the boob to send signals to your body to produce more milk for their growing tummies and appetites. Exclusively pumping doesnt work out more often than not when started from the beginning, also because it doesnt bring a balance of good hindmilk production like your baby would through latching, possibly leading to poor weight gain. I would for sure go see a lactation consultant to see if you can get her to latch that way you dont run any risk of your supply being uneven or dropping due to insufficient pumping/lack of milk balance. Best bet is baby latching on demand, lots of water and snacks, calorie abundant meals. You can try fenugreek as well and also milkmakers lactation consultant recommended cookies 🙂

@mommytonayeliz I also went to a place called "moms place" at manatee memorial hospital in bradenton. It helped ALOT she taught me how to latch correctly and gave a lot of helpful info. You should go there I think its free.

I didnt start taking this until my baby was about 7 months old. Ask your doctor or lactation consultant first to make sure its safe for that age.

@mommytonayeliz Your milk production is also based on demand. Pumping every 2 hours can boost your supply. Its hard to do but it worked for me. I also drank mothers milk tea and bought a lactation vitamin from CVS.
