I think it’s normal. Sometimes I fear having 2 kids and I start to feel the same way.

It can happen for sure. Babies at 5 weeks are just little balls of demands and not social at all. Once they start smiling and laughing it helps with the bonding for sure. If it's a struggle talking to your doctor or even baby's doctor can help. They can give you some activities to do that helps build the bond.

It happened to me with my 2nd child. It was not a planned pregnancy and I wasn’t happy at first. But once he started moving around and kicking those feelings all went away!! It will happen don’t worry you’re still very early

@modom16, I ask because when I found out about my 5 year old this early I was immediately excited and in love

I was sort of in denial when o was 5 weeks pregnant lol. The baby doesn’t look like anything, you haven’t seen a heartbeat or seen/felt any movement. It’s normal. With my pregnancy I didn’t feel anything really until I saw his little legs jump at the 12 week ultrasound . It finally hit me that there was a person in there
