Right now, it’s what Ade calls her “strong song” it’s not a song but it’s her words of affirmation.

She repeats after me when I say it:

“I am beautiful”

“I am strong”

“I can be anything I wanna be”

Followed by:

“Who are you?”

“Adeline”

Three times.

It’s my favorite because she loves it, and now ill randomly hear her say “I am strong mommy” and it makes my day.

@achappex3 oh we do a lot of this now. We have both grown so much, I just wish I had grown up before I had her. I was too young to be having kids.

My favorite song is "Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler. It's the song that reminds me of both my best friend and my grandmother. Strong, beautiful women who have loved and supported me no matter what.

My favorite upbeat song is "Break My Stride" by Matthew Wilder. An oldie, but still a great song that gets me up and moving every single time I hear it!
