It’s normal to bleed and have contraction after a cervical exam. With both of my other pregnancies I’ve been completely effaced and 3-4 cm dilated for a couple weeks with no real signs of labor. I was induced at 38 weeks with both of them for medical issues.

@paislees_momma if your bleeding more then normal I would def call L&D especially if it has mucus in it. You can go from nothing to something really fast the had to use Pitiocin and I was at a 3.5 for 5 hours then went straight to a 10

@mommytotheo, yes at my appointment today, I was 3 cm dilated and 60% effected, I’ve been checked twice, each time after I spotted a tiny tiny bit, I was check today, was told, and now I’m bleeding more than I ever have during the pregnancy, not freak out much, but enough to get get my attention.

Are you dilated any or just thinned? I was 60 3.5 at my check up webt o L&D same day I was 100% but still 3.5 i was told you can thin faster then dilate. It was about 1.5 weeks for me
