Is it normal to feel like the baby is so far in u don’t really feel him or her ?
Cause b4 I felt her and it felt like if I poked my tummy I’d poke her now it’s like she’s low and hidden
@sarahtrust16, you’re welcome beautiful! If you look at your 20 week ultrasound, the white blob looking thing in front of your baby is your placenta. Glad I could help!💛😊
@sarahtrust16, Nothing bad at all. Your placenta is front of her not behind so when she kicks you, she’s actually kicking your placenta. As she gets bigger her kicks will be strong enough for you to feel them. She’s still small in there at 23 weeks. I didn’t start feeling my little boy’s kicks till 27weeks, and even then they were very on and off till 28 weeks and that’s when they got stronger for me. The placenta can shift sometimes, but only up and down.
I just saw your recent ultrasound, and I saw that you do have an anterior placenta. It explains why you haven’t been feeling baby girl’s movements too much, but don’t worry! Soon she will be kicking the crap out of you as she gets bigger! 😊
@sarahtrust16, oh and yea they didn’t tell me abt the anterior placenta thing either first ultrasounds, at my 3D gender scan she said something abt it and I asked my doctor.. which told me that I did.. idk y he didn’t think to mention it 🤷♀️
@sarahtrust16, yup.. as weeks passed by I started feeling my little man really moving around and pressing against and other times my stomach is loose and don’t feel anything at all. It’s weird but since abt 28 weeks I can really feel his movements without question, active as hell sometimes lol
I have an anterior placenta and I didn’t really feel the baby moving to much till later or only felt movements on the sides of my belly but yeah it’s pretty normal unless it’s low.. I’ve heard it’s a issue sometimes. But yeah it feels like that for me, he’s either right there or far back feeling
