My hcg went from 37,000 to 54,000 in 4 days. I’m 8 weeks today. I’m freaking out bc I’ve had milk spotting. Some things I find online say this is normal after hcg reaches 6,000 and some say it needs to be doubling every 48-72 hours still. HELP.
I just got off the phone with my ob nurse at the office and she said she’s going to talk to my dr and give me a call back. Please girls if you pray, pray for me and baby. I can’t mentally handle another loss.
Oh I didn’t know that! But good luck girlie I’m sure you’ll be okay just try to relax and avoid doing anything “crazy” as far as your lower back pain...we’re in the same boat my back is killing me all the time now!!
@raqueliiosiis, thanks girl and yes it’s normal especially if you’ve never had issues during pregnancy.
Random question is it normal to never have had HCG testing? I went to my OB the first time thinking I was 9 weeks but I ended up being 6 weeks and they never took blood or she just did an US and found baby and heart beat right away? I’m almost 14 weeks now and I’ve never had my HCG tested?
Sorry for hijacking your post! But I would say don’t worry if it’s going up it’s good! The more you stress the worse it is for your baby. Try to relax (easier said than done.
All normal as well. Can it be signs of other things? Yes. However it’s normal to experience in a healthy pregnancy too. Espeywhen you’ve had multiple pregnancies.
I’m no doctor, but it sounds fine to me. I wouldn’t stress the numbers right now.
@kerstie14, it’s very hard ik I layed in bed and would move or eat after I had mine and cried thinking it was my fault and then I found out I was 0- after that that’s the reason I miscarried then I got my rhogam shot
@kerstie14, that sounds normal I pulled my paperwork from mine at at 9 weeks mine was 62 thousand your is 54 something at 8 that seems good to me
@kmiler55, thank you ❤️ I am just so sad. I just don’t know what I’d do if something happened again.
I look at it as if something is gonna happen it will happen there’s nothing you can do to stop it so just think positive
That is a very good jump @kerstie14, I’ve had mc and it scared the hell out of me when I found out I was pregnant just think positive stressing yourself out is bad for the baby
@laniejay, but is that a big enough leap? I’ve already seen a Hb twice but I’m a freaking mess as I just had a MC in March.
Once you get over 20,000 it’s normal not to double every 48 hours. Why are they still testing your levels at 8 weeks?
My dr finally called back and said that my numbers looked fantastic and at some point they quit doubling and there is nothing about my numbers to be alarmed about. Praise God!
