Does anyone's toddler wake up crying at odd hours of the night and just cry hysterically?

@amysbabies I wish rhat was the case. But we offer him something to eat. His sippy. You name it. But he still he won't take it. My SO caved in last night and turned the tv on and of course he stopped crying. But I feel like he cried that way so we can turn the tv on. Mind you it's between 2 am and like 4 am when he does this. Not sure how we are going to do it when the little one comes.

Have you tried offering water? My little one gets super thirsty in the middle of the night. I realized after we night weaned her. We keep a sippy cup of water next to her and she wakes up a few times and drinks like it’s the last water on earth.

Yes my dd is 2 1/2 and she does this. At first I thought night terrors. Which it could be. But I also think she may wake up with a stomach ache. She gets constipated easily and I know those kind of cramps can be so uncomfortable. But it’s terrible with her. I can’t touch her or anything. It makes her scream more. I just have to sit there telling her Mumma’s here until she stops.

Yess. Dd sometimes does that super random, but she's 4 months.
