ok, i need some advice..
so, I’m one of those paranoid mom’s who never lets her kids stay the night over anyone’s house (family or not).. MIL asked to get my boys tomorrow and for them to stay the night..
I told her she can get them and I’ll pick them up later on that day..she insist on them staying the night though & I don’t want to be mean about it but it’s just not happening.
How should I tell her (again🙄) in a nice way that I just don’t feel comfortable with them staying the night?

@belinda.l, I’m ok with letting them go places for a few hours, but staying the night and knowing that I can’t roll over to check on them literally gives me anxiety 😩 Aw that’s so cute lol my baby boy is attached to me. I’m sure if he could talk he’d say “don’t take me” lol
Omg this is me I dont even know how im gonna send my daughter to preschool . when her grandma was here she wanted my daughter to sleep over my sil house and I caved and said yes and my daughter almost 4 called crying wanting to come home i felt so relieved

Guys are always like that with there moms its so annoying 🙄 but yea just be honest lol
@adriannastewart, tell her you don't want to throw off your night time routine. Ans they will sleep better at home for now.
Just be honest. If she gets mad, oh well. People should respect ur wishes. You could soften the blow by saying they wouldn't be comfortable being without you & u don't want to put them in that position.
@nicolee____, you’re right.. she just keeps bugging me about them staying over it’s kind of getting annoying. I feel like it’s his job to handle these kind of things 🤦♀️
@nandf, @xoxomamaof2xoxo, I’ve let them before once & they literally came home sleep deprived 🤦♀️ she said she couldn’t get them to go to sleep.. then she’ll ride around with them without having a car seat! 2 boys under 2years old. Thanks for the advice!
Yea you have to be straight up say you don’t feel comfortable letting them stay the night. My daughter has yet to stay anywhere overnight and she’s 5! Lol

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Just say ur not ready and if you want to be nice maybe see if she wants to stay the night over your house? And like she can get them up in the morning if she wants? Idk just a suggestion
