Anyone have any ideas to help prevent my child from spitting out her juice 😒 she will literally drink hold it in her mouth and try and put it in another toy or her kitchen 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve tried giving her big girl cups that she only gets sips at a time but she does it anyways, and I don’t want to not give her anything to drink throughout the day 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m at my freaking wits end. *edit* it’s not just juice it’s anything in her cup, juice, water, milk

@pipelinemama, yeah hold it for her and let her drink and if she wants it tell her no and why because she’s spitting it every where.. and little by little give her chances.. and if she does it say no but in a mean voice and take it again.. and take her toy also and tell her you do not do that and spit.. shit even my seven month old gets yelled at lol.. he’s got his own attitude for being so small it’s crazy

@jennrudy2016, I’ve tried that even popping her on the hand 🤦🏻‍♀️ this is a new phase (hopefully to pass soon) so I’m going to try and keep it to where she’s only allowed to drink where she’s in front of me and put it up after.

You got to be stern with her and tell her no you either drink or you play and if you play your not drinking anything anymore.. you got to talk with her then a different voice and let her know she’s not gng to be playing around while she’s drinking her drink.. she’s testing you and she’s winning

My daughter did the same thing when she was 2! I would take whatever toy she was spitting her drink in and put it somewhere high up in her room where she could see it and tell her that she wasn’t getting it back because she was spilling her drink in it. We started to just let her have her drink in the kitchen or we would hold it for her if we were in our bedroom so she wouldn’t sneak off with it. She eventually stopped and now is allowed to take her drink with her around the house she just has to put it somewhere so her little sister doesn’t get ahold of it now lol.

@_sheriee, ive tried all sorts of sippy cups and even down to adult cups with tiny bits at a time 🤦🏻‍♀️ it doesn’t matter she does it with whatever I give her. It’s very frustrating I’m pretty sure a few more white hairs popped out when she started this 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh! I’m not really any help then. Lol. Maybe have her pick out her own cup whether it be a straw or sippy? Good luck! That sounds frustrating forsure

@_sheriee, it’s not just juice I should specify it’s any drink 🤦🏻‍♀️ she does it with anything I hand her recently, juice which is watered down, water after a cup of. Juice or milk 🤦🏻‍♀️

Could she just not like it? My girl hates juice and will only drink it if it’s diluted
