Transfer is tomorrow. I am worried about my embryo surviving the thaw. Anybody transfer their last embryo and how did you deal with that anxiety?
I cramped sooooo badvthe day after transfer this last time that I could barely walk. So cramping is definitely good!
One symptom that I only had when I was pregnant, not just from the extra hormones, was a strong sense of smell. When I got pregnant with my oldest, the Bloodhound nose started the day after the transfer. I don't know how it could have happened so soon, but it did.
I am having a little cramping. Hopefully that isn’t bad. I don’t remember if i has cramping day of or day after with my son
@expectinggreatness, thanks. I’m sure I’m crazy but already feel pregnant. Lol I knew each of my embryos implanted (definitely Brian, my son and the blighted ovum). I had falafel, hummus, and salad for lunch and am nauseas. I hope that wasn’t bad to eat. They said it is stored at fridge temp and made fresh. Was only from yesterday. I also could not stand the smell of my husbands lunch. I Will have soup for dinner. I hear that helps implantation.
@gatorgirl419, we will be prego together for atleast 5 months 🤗I’m excited for you !
@cphelps39, my son was a single transfer (they all were). All 4 embryos from same cycle 1) blighted ovum 7/14, 2) 8/15 faint chemical that was negative on blood test . 3) 10/1/15 very next cycle my son was conceived. 4th and final was judt transferee. This embryo was actually frozen with my son and had to be refrozen after transferring him. My husband actually said he visualized a pink blanket but who knows since he knows i want a daughter (but will love my second son as much as my first if it is another boy).
Annnndd after my first transfer with my daughter I had symptoms like two days later. So don't let ppl convince you that you don't know your body. We're probably more attuned to our bodies than any one I can think of! Think positive vibes and seriously try to not worry yourself. Immerse yourself in a hobby, cooking, exercise, your son, etc... It makes the wait go by quicker
It can! Its mainly from the progesterone or from baby!
I was so sure after my last transfer that it didn't work but the day before my beta I poas (to prove it didn't work) and got two very strong lines! 18 weeks with twins.
But my daughter was a single embryo transfer and all my subsequent FETs from her batch didn't work so all it really does take is one!
@cphelps39, transfer is complete. Now the wait before i test. Does bloating start as quick as 3 days? If so I may need a new Mother’s Day dress to hide it
Don't let worry taint this exciting time.... It's in God's hands now. You've done all you can
I transferred my only embie... and now she's cooing at me from the other side of the room 😍 but yes it is difficult to deal with the anxiety. I wish I could help, but all I can say is try to distract yourself as anxiety doesn't help implantation and laughter does! X
