I have mixed children their father is white and I am black. Anyway I constantly have people asking if they have the same father because one of my sons is very light compared to the other. They literally look like the same mini people just different skin tones. Is it wrong that I ger super offensive when people ask me that or say how my light baby looks nothing like me simply because of his skin.

Well... children can be different complexions even with the same race of parents, same combo of parents...so maybe the inquiry is not anything to do with you and father being different races...but either way don't let it bother you Hun, folks are generally nosey, I think.

This is an old picture but i get alot of looks when i have all 3 kids out together nobody beleives they are brother and sister. Granted The youngest has a different father than the older 2 but shes just as hispanic as her brothers just very light skinned with blue eyes, she was hit with alot of resessive genes from my side.

My girls are both mixed & my oldest has fair skin like me & her hair is a lighter brown. My youngest has darker skin & dark hair just like her dad. I used to get offended when people would ask if they had the same dad but now I dont let it get to me. I know that they are both his children. I was even told that someone thought thier dad needed a DNA test for my oldest, I was really offeneded when I heard that & I deffinatly told that person off. Just like someone else said people like to be nosey. You have a right to feel how you do. Just try to not let it bother you girl 😊

People are strange. When our second was born my MIL brought our first to the hospital. Hunny and I are both naturally blonde but I dye my hair red and his has faded to a dark blonde/almost light brown color. The nurse asks us where our sons blonde hair comes from. I just laughed. I said both of us! My SIL has mixed kids also same father. Our nephew has this beautiful carmel colored skin and our niece is a gorgeous dark milk chocolate brown. People definitely assume they have different father's. You should see the looks I get when I take her kids and my kids shopping 😂😂😂 I just smile 😉
