I had Mirena. Never again

I've had two iuds and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. To many bad reactions. I've had one get lodged and had to have it removed and I had one fall out and didn't even know it.

I had the copper one and hated it. I have had 2 Mirenas and loved them!

Girl I’m breastfeeding and they said my only two options that won’t affect my milk supply would be depo or the nexplannon and my doctor recommended depo first and if I like that for the first 3 months that I can get the rod ( he said it’s pretty much the same drug )

And I’ve heard depo makes you gain weight but we will see!! Because I’m struggling to shed this baby weight off girl!

@kndosda95, I was given those two options an iud of some sort and the mini pill. With my first I breastfeed but struggled so bad to lose weight even not on birth control. An I’ve heard the same thing that a lot of women gain weight on the depo shot and I’m definitely not about that life. I really need to get back in shape after this baby. I may just go with the mini pill again. But idk I just didn’t like it cause it gave me my period at like 5/6 weeks P.P and I was hoping my period would stay away longer then that seeing as I was breastfeeding

I have the iud and the only problem I really have is not gettin a period which I think causes me to look super bloated. Also I think it’s harder for me to lose weight while on it. I have been trying to lose 10 pounds since I got it and nothing! I also always feel drained and tired but idk if the iud is the cause. And my hubby says it pokes him during sex. Once this is expired though I think I will have another baby and then get my tubes tied. I still have 4 years tho
