@lo-ruhama, @niki664, @heather3427, @jessig2006, it went way better than expected! His 4 yer old son just seemed comfortable and himself but the 8 year old daughter I was worried about. I was myself and was comfortable! (Thank the lord for their father he played a movie to break the ice ) melody for the first half seemed like she had a lot of questions. So finally she was like “are you going to be here every night? Like all the time?” And I said “I’m not going to be here all the time just sometimes.” And she said oh.. because I do want you here all the time I really like you and you could potentially be my new step mom 😭😂 she’s so smart and I started crying lol

Just be yourself, dont try too hard, and same advice as other mommiesgave you already.

Let them get comfortable, and for them to come to you, I'm sure they'll love you.
