I refuse to shop at a goodwill and theft store for my kids in Connecticut
I too have never heard of a theft store? Do they let you take things for free?
@raheemah05 Wow that Goodwill is huge ! ours is like a regular store .
@raheemah05, every other state is phone except Connecticut
does Burlington count as one too ? i always shop there for my son . They have a lot of great clothes and deals .
I think it depends on how you hit it some places are gross others are pretty up on making sure stuff is clean. I like going to yard sales and finding deals and hope it came from a clean place.
@jennatess, I said in ct in my comments I don’t no know how to fix my status so I don’t want salt thrown on me ... I love in Connecticut where stores sell clothes with bed bugs
I think a clothed child is better than a child without anything to wear.
Some people can’t afford anything more, and like many stated: you can find some amazing deals!
One bad experience doesn’t mean they all are bad.
Just purchase, wash with hot water once or twice, and you’re more than likely good to go. 🤷🏼♀️
@mckallalynn.., I said ct when I wrote u right ... I thought so
@mommydutieskoko what's bad in one store isn't bad in all. You shouldn't bash all thrift stores
@mckallalynn.., let me tell you something nothing is fake when I brought some and get had bed bugs I live in ct what u saying
@mommydutieskoko actually my MIL is a manager at goodwill... so that's fake news.
@jellybeans33, I died 😂💀
Yeah, I love finding a good deal. A lot of times I find stuff new with the tag on it. I love buy and sell apps too! Really no point in spending a fortune when they’ll only fit in it for a month or so. Toys are another item I rarely buy new.
You have the right to purchase items from the stores you want, as does everyone else. Thanks for sharing your unsolicited preference.
Well I understand what y’all saying but ct good wills and thrift stores are nasty they have bugs
I’m the opposite. I love consignment shops and buying everything second hand. I make sure it’s stain and hole free of course but I got atlas a brand new pair of Nike’s for $1.25, a brand new little tikes playground set with slide and swing for $10 and his $200 crib with the tags still on it was $25. I don’t buy anything unless it’s on sale lol
I have no shame buying things from a thrift store or goodwill, it's cheap and if I'm real tight with money at least my kid could still have clothes
I refuse to pay for name brand clothes all the time for a baby that will either shit up his back and ruin them or stain them.
