Gestational diabetes anyone have it ? I found out I have it at 28 weeks

O also if u just have to do insulin I’m not sure wat kind of insurance u have n wat it covers but I’m a fan of the insulin pins just makes for much easier use ask your dr wat your options are

I have it with this pregnancy and had it with my last I think only cause I have the gene for it cause my dad is diabetic and other than being pregnant my levels are normal but once establishing a routine and speaking to a nutritionists it wasn’t extremely hard to maintain good levels just super annoying to do finger pricks and have to do insulin btw I do about 4 pricks a day and 8 units of insulin twice a day and I haven’t noticed any bad side affects but good luck and u will be fine just precaution for health of u and baby 😘

Well just my luck I have to meet with another specialist so they can decide how much insulin I have to take and I’ve been doing everything right with my diet I

I had it with my pregnancy this past year. It was rough in the beginning for me with the diet but it honestly isn't that bad. Mine was controlled just by diet. No insulin needed.

How was your experience because google is scary
