Can some one give me some closure here ! My baby is 1 week 2 days old the only way she will sleep is in My arms or on her side ! Everyone keeps saying I'm a horrible mom because I co sleep with her 😣😢I've tried swaddling her and she still ends up on her side . Is my baby the only one? Also when she's on her side I make sure she's propped with plenty of room to breath
Ive slept with all of my kids. They sleep better with me. As long as you are doing it safely there should be no problems. I would say some never want to leave the bed when they get older😂(my 2 year old)
All that matters is the way you put them to sleep. Put her to sleep on her back, if she turns on her side, it is fine, if she flips over it is fine- as long as there are no blankets or pillows.
All my babies have slept with me and this one will too.I'm a very light sleeper. A lot of mothers do. I hate how everyone wants to mom shame ppl. When were just doing our best!
@roguemommyofjx3, those nurses got super pissy. 🙄 but damn i was tired and Jax was crying 🤷🏽♀️
My baby kept rolling on her side, but they stop doing that while they sleep soon. I was nervous too.
I've co slept with all 4 of my little ones and will with #5 too. Tell those judgemental people to kiss your a**.
Co sleeping is natural despite what a lot of drs want to say. Google Dr Sears. My 2nd baby would only sleep on my stomach for the longest. That being said there are safe and nonsafe ways to co sleep. I would be cautious if I was a deep sleeper or under the influence, etc.
Baby has spent 9+ months in tummy warm and close to mom and now is in a new strange place where that closeness with you is her comfort/her safe place.
I don't think baby sleeping on side is a big issue. Mine did that too. :) Do what works best for you and baby. ❤ You're not a horrible mom by any means.
nope! when i was in the hospital i kept falling asleep holding my son, and they were getting mad and i'm like WELL he doesn't like being away from me!! also until Jaxon was about 4m he almost always would only fall asleep laying on mine or my SO chest. I co sleep til this day and he's almost 8m! i'll probably co sleep til forever 😂🙄
Nope I co slept with my son too, I liked having him close and having my baby made me a real light sleeper, I can feel and hear every move, I can hear if he takes a deep breathe, but just follow the co sleep guidelines to keep her safe, and dont let anyway guilt you about raising your child the way you want to raise them and best piece of advice always you know best and if you want to try one of those side sleepers you can bring into bed, I bought one but didnt use you it much
