Well guess it’s hospital bound today my three week old hasn’t pooped in two days

Miralax. Idk what age you can start that at....mine was a bit older. But That's all my doc told me...she's now 1 year old and we have to give her miralax daily to poop. Since she eats so much, her stool is too hard for her to pass

@newlywedmama21, well he only 3 weeks so it’s not a lot to give him since he so young so I’m just take him to the hospital and see what they say

I would too...it scared me at that age. Hopefully he gets some relief soon

Is he breastfed or formula fed? Breastfed babies can go 7-10 days without a bm.

Get some Vaseline and a qtip, coat the qtip in Vaseline and insert the tip into his bum and he will probably poop.

Same thing happened to my little man and the dr suggested I do it and it worked!

I would call his pediatrician first and see what they say and try to get an appointment there if they think he needs to be seen. I avoid hospitals unless absolutely necessary especially with a baby so small, way too many nasty germs there. Your pediatrician is there for things like this.

@sparklingjewels, my pediatrician I’ll be waiting forever I’m already here now and our hospital has a pediatrician area designed for kids only and the adult area is on the other side but I always bath myself and my kids whenever I do come to the hospital
