So I had my usual check up today... My original plan was to have this baby vaginally, since I had my first via c-section. I remember laboring with my first for 20 hours and feeling so defeated when they told me I needed a c-section. I honestly don’t want to go through that again at all, so I just scheduled to have another c-section a week before my due date which would be June 14th. I’m happy with this decision but I can’t help but feel like I “took the easy way out.” I wanted to try for a VBAC but with all the complications with my first I don’t want to risk it again. I need some reassurance in my life that I’m doing the right thing. With this being planned it gives us a set date on when she will be here and how long we have to get all the things we need to get done, and it helps me determine my maternity leave as well. I’ve already been called a “wuss” and a “baby” because I opted for this plan and it’s seriously making me feel so bad about everything. 😩

I had a C-section with first......and no it's definitely not the easy way out. My aunt said that if she ever had another she would opt for one because she tore bad...but I warned her it's NOT easy. I tried vbac just cuz I don't have help and it was too hard on me to take care of house and a toddler and I don't want to be recovering for so long etc. It ended up going good. I wish you the best in your labour, however it goes....neither way is "easy".
