I feel silly for asking this but: how did you moms know your period just started versus something else started bleeding for some reason?

@rachel1029, I’ve gone through that but I had tore really bad. Including tearing through a blood vessel. I guess I am just making sure it wasn’t some complication I wasn’t told about

Like after having the baby? The blood that comes after baby tapers off into funky colors then is gone for hopefully a month until your actual period comes.
