Anybody ever have your kid stop using the potty? 🤨😦 my daughter is one and has been doing really good these last few months telling us when she has to “pee pee” and using the tea toilet and now she just goes in her diaper...Even when she says anything she’s usually already went to the bathroom in her pull up..😰 If you have any advice on how to fix this I would love it because I’m not thrilled to have to change her diaper and her brother’s especially when she knows how to go on her own..💙
@skyandangelsmom so far its been helping not sure who its helping more me or him lol I was getting defeated feeling I think because I was putting pressure on myself thinking I wanted him potty trained by 4 so I could take him to the preschool here in town. They won't take kids unless they are completely potty trained. Its given me a way to make it fun and exciting instead of me pushing him to go potty all the time I'm reminding him hey you have that bag of little surprises if you poop on the potty remember? Lol anyways its only been up for a little over a week
@richins, that’s a really good idea! She might be too young for the chart lol but I’m gonna try or some other fun reward afterward!!
@richins, Regression is super normal! Definitely don't beat yourself up and know that he isn't passed a certain age where you should be worried! He's just adjusting for the life change thats about to happen. My oldest knew exactly when I was pregnant some how! They have a 6th sense I swear!! 😜 Just keep encouraging and taking time for him in the next few weeks since your new BABY gets here tomorrow! Everything will fall into place 💗
like the other ladies said they regress my oldest did that when I got pregnant with number 2 but before I gave birth was back on track just keep being positive key thing is not to make it a fight cause then they will not like it try to figure out fun way to do it
@hollyn216 I'm currently trying to potty train my son, he was doing really really good at potty training then around the time I hit my second trimester he regressed big time. I have my c-section tomorrow morning and my son turns 4 next month. I've heard many times that its normal for kids to regress when mom is pregnant but I thought I'd have him back in track and potty trained by the time baby gets here. Obviously that's not happening but I can't help feel self conscious that I'm not doing something right because he's 4 soon and still not back to where he was 6 months ago
Yes its normal that they regress but she will get back on track. My oldest regressed while I was pregnant with her sister and she got back on track in time for sisters arrival.
@richins, 😂😂😂 I think I will give it a try!! Seeing all the comments though makes me really think it’s bc of her brother on the way..😔 gonna try this and hope things get better!
