On a scale of Tacky to Tacky AF how tacky is it to throw yourself a birthday party and tell people to bring food??
On B.B. I posted a few times about this acquaintance who would invite us over for dinner (after having had pretty spectacular dinners (surf and turf, for example) at our house) and would serve us for example: one fucking taco...while I was pregnant, and would not serve “real” food to my son (2 at the time...because she says toddlers don’t really eat, so she gave him a slice of lunch meat) forcing me to share my one fucking taco with my starving toddler. That’s just one example.
Anyhow, she just sent me an invite for her birthday party, that she’s throwing for herself, and she says everyone will have to bring a dish.
Is this normal or tacky af?
