So when are my Mommies that are in their third trimester starting maternity leave?

My due date is June 10th and I start my maternity leave June 1st

@takesma I think you have your mind made up.. If you don't want to work nights I would suggest you go to your doctor and get a note stating that you are not able to work that shift due to medical reasons. I currently work with a pregnant coworkers who works nights like I do and she is always off. Your blood pressure fluctuates more so during the night shifts. I would buy a bp cuff at the pharmacy and monitor your pressure etc. What type of work do you do?

@joanna.marie939 I'm just too exhausted to continue through my whole pregnancy. I work 6 days a week, 12 hr shift. This Thursday I will be put on nights permanently.. my body won't let me do it.

When I went into labor

I’m gonna stay working til I go into labor. It’s hard, but I wanna get in all the money I can since I won’t get paid during my maternity leave! I’m due the middle of June!

@reanasanders26 I'm thinking about 36 weeks as well. I have less 4 ore weeks to work in that case.

I thinking about just working up until I’m 36 weeks my I’m 26 weeks and my job already asking for my last day of work. But I’m on my feet from 7-3 all day and my feet be so swollen when i get home.

@takesma, o I am 😎 they went off 70% of when I was working 40 hours too instead of the last couple months when I could only do 30 with a doctor's note so I'm getting more.. now if only I wasn't so bored lol

In California we get 4 weeks off prior that's paid too. Plus the 12 weeks after babies born.. might as well use it lol

@takesma wow 😍 what are you having im having a baby girl 💜 , i work monday thru Friday only 5 hr shifts off the weekends not bad thats why im just gonna work all the way up til i have her . i understand you wanting to stop, 12 hr shifts & nights?!! i wouldn't be able to do it!! Lol im so use to 5 hrs 😂 . but yea do whats best for you!! Work as long as you can handle!! . if i didn't need the money i would stop at the beginning of june honestly i cant afford to do that sadly 😪😪

@lilysilly that makes a lot of sense. I'm really thinking hard of not going back after I have my baby.

I literally worked until I had her because I was only getting 2 months off and I wanted to spend every second with her.

Thank god I had her on a Sunday so a Friday was my last day.

@rayanna20 wow we have the same due date. I think I'm calling it quits at 36 weeks. I work 6 days a week ,12 hour shifts and it's kicking my butt. Not only that my boss is moving me to nights the end of this week. I really think she's trying to make me quit.
