Anyone has an early private scan before their first hospital one and been told different dates? Just curious got my…

I had a private scan at 8 weeks they said i was measuring a few days behind, but at my scan at 12+1 they said I was measuring bang on my EDD from period and my actual dating scan both got the same date x

Mine was off by 6 days at my private scan then bang on and my nhs scan.

@lauramackay2016, Aww at least you’ll know your exact date either way, I was so confused for the first 3 months as they kept giving me different dates lol until I had the dating scan around 12 weeks xx

@melanie-spiritmedium, so exciting you know what wAy I'm hoping to to they 9 days ahead of what I thought I was when I had my private scan lol. Xxxx

@melanie-spiritmedium, thank u ☺️ and Tuesday is my first scan I'll be 14 weeks going by the date my private scan gave me. I was on holiday so it was a bit later xxxx

@lauramackay2016, the hospital one hun as that’s what the hospital and your own midwife will go by at all your appointments. Have you already had the dating scan or is that the one you’ve got Tuesday?xx

@lauramackay2016, when I went for my private scans she basically told me the hospital would change it again just depending on how much baby has grown. I’m actually thinking they might stick with the 15th because he/she looked pretty big at our last one lol🙈 xx

The hospital themselves gave me 4 different dates lol once they give you an actual dating scan that’s the one they stick with xx

@nikki90xx, just wondered cos I'm sure I've seen someone write on here about having different dates. Going by my last period my dates should be 29th October but my private scan showed I was due 07 Nov, 9 days out.. just curious to know if it's happened to anyone Xxx

When I went for my first private they told me the 19th November then when I went for my 2nd and 3rd they said 15th Nov. I also have my first hospital scan on Tuesday. If I go by my LMP I am due on the 17th🙈 cx
