So mauriz hasn’t eaten since about 8 pm Thursday, all day yesterday he had a fever and today he’s had a fever still not eating or drinking and is throwing up like crazy!! When would you ladies suggest taking him back into the ER? I had him there yesterday but all they did was monitor him.. don’t really want to go in if they won’t do anything but I’m getting worried he might be getting dehydrated with the not drinking anything and puking!

@pumpernickel, I have those but he freaks out about those! It’s a huge fight with him and those things....
Most pharmacies carry over the counter suppositories (meds you insert rectally). His fever should come down and hopefully then he will drink/eat

Yea. Has an episode of my lil one throwing up. Went in to clinic. Doc recommended 10 ml of fluid juice pedialyte whatever lil one takes to every 10 -15 mins to prevent dehydration.
@gabby.pineda, @laywatz, I’m about to take him to the children’s ER again but a different one... he just puked all over himself so his dad is giving him a bath while I get the other 2 in bed, when he’s done I’m going to head out with him!
Take him into the hospital if he's not drinking .. kids can get dehydrated really quickly
I seriously hate hospitals! Is there an urgent care open in your area?
@mommy_x3 I would ask for nausea medicine then so he keeps things down. Urgent has told me if I run out of nausea medicine I could use benadryl. I'm not sure how true that is. Could you ask for some medicine so he doesn't throw up?
@gabby.pineda, that’s the thing he doesn’t want to even drink anything and he doesn’t want popsicles and usually he’s all for those!! Every time he’s tried to drink anything today he pukes it up a couple mins later, the people at the ER told me yesterday to bring him back if he can’t keep nothing down for more than a day 😑 but I’m not about to wait a whole 24 hours of him going like this!
I would have taken him to urgent care the minute he couldn't hold down anything. My dr always says if fevers can't be controlled by Tylenol or ibuprofen it needs antibiotics. Have you tried giving popsicles? Gatorade? Pedialyte?
He doesn't have to eat just keep him hydrated. He can eat once his body is ready and when he's ready to eat start off with the b.r.a.t diet.
If you get to the hospital ask for nausea medicine. My son got prescribed Ondansetron, it dissolves in the mouth.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
My son just handed me this…. As an adult I made the decision not to get it and told him why I choose not to. Asked him if he knew anything about COVID or the vaccine and he said no all he knows it’s that it’s out there. At the end I asked him if he wants the vaccine I will sign the form if not we ignore it. He said no thank you 😊.
How would you guys feel if your husband drank every night between 6 and 12 beers with children in the house. But the only time he drinks is after 7. Sometimes if he works his night job on the beach doing the tractor he comes home at midnight and starts drinking 10 beers. He doesn't get up in the morning to help with kids and is passed out on couch???? I know none of you are doctors but from experience does this look like strep throat? He had a headache yesterday & had a fever of 100.6 under the arm. Took Tylenol and within an hour he was fine. He hasn't complained of it until at dinner he said he didn't want to eat because his throat hurts. He's still drinking fine & being loud like normal.
