Where’s your favorite places to buy decently priced kids clothes ?
I hate buying expensive clothes cause my son loves dirt and getting messy
Don’t get me wrong I do have nice clothes set aside but I’m looking for some good deals on summer clothes.
@lifeisgood2me, I love some of the Walmart clothes when I first see them, but they don’t seem to hold up . Even the carters onesie we got there seemed to not hold up very well and stained my sons sheets pink ( it was red). I recently got him an adorable monsters inc outfit from Walmart and after one wash it looked pretty beat. The garanimals stuff holds up ok, though. I guess it’s hit and miss
@brittgale, I looove Ross, TJ Maxx and Marshall’s lol. My husband jokes I live there
Ooh also target clearance section or their mix and match separates for 4-5 bucks each
In the beginning I mostly traded or bought on Facebook second hand . Now I prefer either places like sams club or Costco ( they often have sets of 3-5 pieces for 10-15 bucks that are carters , etc) , online Carter’s sales, and Kohl’s . Kohl’s has their own brand called jumping beans and it’s fabulous !! So cute and on sale constantly
@johnell about a week ago Carter's was having a sale! Maybe it's still going!!
I second (or third, lol) Burlington! Just for you own mental health, do not even attempt to enter one during the holidays- it's a nightmare and you will cry.
Burlington! Super cheap! I got so many name brands at a cheap price. You can get A LOT of clothes under $100.
You’d probably never think to go here , but Burlington! Super cheap clothes even name brand ! We got my son so many Nike and Jordan stuff for so so so cheap . Under 100$ . And we got like a crap ton . Everything there baby wise is super cheap
I buy my sons “play clothes” at thrift stores and consignment sales. You could also shop at Ross, TJ max, Marshall’s.
I buy and sell from the Mercari app. People sell new and used. Consignment shops, The Salvation Army and Walmart.
Not for everyone but secondhand shops are amazing. Most of their childrens clothes are actually unworn, tags still on and everything, they just didn't fit someone's child and were donated. You can get adorable, brand new or close to it clothing for pennies on the dollar. We got a three piece onesie set from goodwill, carters, tags on, for three dollars. You can't beat that. Just wash before dressing baby and you're set! I honestly tell all of my parents to shop second hand for children if they want to save money.
For my baby we buy mostly Carters.
For my bigger kids (5&6) we do a lot of Target and secondhand stores. My son once managed to put a hole in the knees of his pants every day for a week. Seriously, 4 pairs of school pants ruined in a week. So we do Once Upon a Child and Kid to Kid. You can find new stuff and barely used stuff there all the time.
I really need to buy more clothes but I can't find any maternity clothes at all that fit so instead of getting me I get B more clothes
I regret getting some much newborn clothes he didn't get a chance to wear half of it 😭😭💔 now I get a chance to buy more clothes 😂 #shoppinngproblem
I really don’t want to be ungrateful but I feel like everyone is only buying us baby clothes as gifts for my shower. I made a registry for a reason cause I don’t need any clothes but there are other great things that are inexpensive that I really could use. I feel like a jerk.. I just know I’m going to end up returning everything and just getting the things from the registry that I need. I feel ppl hear baby and just buy clothes.. I’m incredibly grateful anyone would even take the time and buy u...

Do you guys think it's pointless to buy new clothes at this point? I'm 33 weeks tomorrow, so I still have 7 weeks left with nothing that fits me, literally everything I bought a month or 2 ago doesn't fit. I have like 3 shirts that fit me. My boyfriend said it was pointless to get new clothes at this point but I don't think it is..I don't even like doing anything anymore because of lack of clothes that fit lol.
Where do you ladies shop to get your clothes from? I normally go to the thrift store or this consignment shop and get all of my clothes. They usually always have nice clothes in excellent condition and even new clothes. I feel like I need more dressy clothes that just makes me feel good. I normally wear comfortable clothes because I don't go out. But when we do I don't have much of anything dressy. Any suggestions?
@girlygirl1988 Really?! That's weird, I haven't had any problems with their clothes. I get my kids a 4th of July outfit from there every year and never had that happen with the red. I do have that problem with Target clothes though. Everything I buy from Target falls apart at the seams. Their women's clothes, bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes and even bath mats.
