You won’t leave baby on their own in a room to sleep at first. And a sling is totally your choice x

Unless your planning on leaving baby alone in a different room then no to the monitor. Never brought a sling with my youngest, and only used it once with my elder two so id say they were pointless.

@em93bbourn, I just had them in the pram or car seat while out, helps if the car seat fits onto your pram frame too lol x

You won't need a monitor right away as baby will always be with you. I never put mine asleep and left them as newborns. May have gone into kitchen to wash up etc but never left them upstairs while I was downstairs. A sling is not essential just preference. I never used one first time. Used one a little with Max.

@ell.joe, yeah I thought baby going to be near me always anyway :) lol that will be like me if I do buy a carrier it will get thrown in a cupboard never to be seen again lol xxx

Nope 😊 I never had a sling because she had her pram and I’ve never used my baby monitor xx

@nataliielouiseexo, ahh yeah they are so expensive for a decent monitor it’s ridiculous lol I’ll save money and be the monitor myself 😂.. & yeah I can imagine 😂😂 haha!! xx

I personally use my carrier more than my pram, but I have another child so find when I've got the baby in the pram it's harder to get involved with him. Haven't got a baby monitor never have had one either 🙆

@em93bbourn I got my monitor in the sale at Mothercare only reason I had it but didn't use it straight away lol 😁 I would get opinions on a carrier or sling I mostly have him out in the pram I felt pregnant again when I had him in one lol 😂 xx

I started using my monitor after 2 months I think cause I was mostly letting him sleep on me or going to bed when he was, I've used my carrier once lol xx
