@kellynicole, just because it wasn’t true for you doesn’t mean that it isn’t true in general. Maybe you ate more protein than you realize. Protein is an important part of fetal development. Maybe you ate a lot of sugar. I don’t know. But in general you need more protein when pregnant. 🤷‍♀️

@tjessica2006, protein helps baby grow. If you aren’t getting enough protein your baby will not grow at the rate it should. But if your doctor wasn’t concerned about baby’s size then you probably don’t need to worry

I was like that with my first and blew up by 9 months. Not enough for people to notice the pregnancy, but enough for me to notice
