I'm terrified right now. I really need some kind words, encouragement, prayers etc. Had my 38+6 check up today and found out that my baby flipped from head down to breach. My doctor is in the process of scheduling an external cephalic version to manually turn babe around & then either induce me or go for a c-section. My original thought was to get induced, but after reading the paperwork and the risks that can occur and talking it over with my husband, a c-section would be safest for baby. I'm terrified of having a cesarean and to be very honest, this is hard birth plan to accept, but I know I need too.
First off, take a deep breath. It will be ok. That is the safest delivery possible. It is also super quick.
I have had two and honestly, I prefer them over the natural way (I lost my first during labor). The after will be a little more rough on you, but it will be worth it in the end. If you need any advice or have any questions, feel free to message me
You could always google “spinning babies” it’s gentle exercises to try and turn baby yourself . Or having acupuncture or moxibustion (herbal smells done by the clever Chinese ladies) or even going swimming and doing handstands in the pool!
Some of these might be worth a try ? X
I wouldn't induce. If you can't have a natural breech birth then csection.
Haven't been through it but many have, as long as baby is born safely is all that matters :)
Hopefully things work and he turns but if not in a few months you'll be all healed and have healthy baby :)
C-section=OMG!
So let me start off by saying I am completely terrified.
Baby time# c section I’m terrified
just a question for the moms, how many of you were induced? and it being a successful labor, or did you end up with a c-section?? I'm just curious. my doctor let me choose to be induced on my baby boys due date, or wait.. and I chose to be induced!!
I also recently found out that I can't take maternity leave only having been at my job since March... I must put in my two weeks when I am ready, and be completely rehired back after baby and recovery from second c section 😰😰😰😰 I'm so worried. What if they don't hire me back, and I have a two year old and an infant and no job. I am terrified about this
